Ethics in fashion photography

6. Types of changes that may be ok are to cancel out red eye (like with flash back), maybe to color nails or deepen or lighten a lip color, but major changes; like slimming, enlarging, skin or hair color changing, are so rude and unacceptable!
7. Fashion photography can be meant to be persuasive, to get someone to buy a product or to think a certain way. Photojournalism is meant to inform, to paint a picture in someones mind. Fashion photography uses much more photoshop that photojournalism, making photojournalism more reliable.
8. Fashion photography has twisted reality and is mostly very unethical. Photojournalism almost always gives you the true photo and makes it more ethical.
9. You probably showed us these videos to show the difference between fashion photography and photojournalism, and how unethical fashion photography is. Also you showed us these videos to introduce us to our new unit.
